Garland, TX — The Granville Arts Center is currently showcasing the Paint and Photograph Garland, TX exhibition, which will be on display until the end of March. This art show is presented by Artists Round Texas and features a variety of pieces judged by guest juror Steve Miller of Steve Miller Studio.

Several awards were presented during the show, including a $500 prize for Best of Show, which went to Laurieann Dygowski for her captivating piece titled “Path Along Muddy Creek.” This artwork draws viewers in, reminiscent of the trails around the Spring Creek Forest Preserve.

The art show was coordinated with assistance from the City of Garland and the director and staff of the Granville Arts Center. The artworks displayed are inspired by various special areas around Garland, including the Chùa Đạo Quang, FCS Clay Works, Garland Landmark Museum & Santa Fe Depot, Garland Animal Shelter & Adoption Center, Woodland Nature Basin Area, and Suntex Boat Club & Rentals.
