Garland Gears Up for the 79th Annual Labor Day Parade

Garland, TX – The City of Garland is excited to announce the return of the 79th Annual Labor Day Parade, set to take place on Monday, September 1, at 9 a.m. in Downtown Garland. Presented by the Noon Exchange Club of Garland and the City of Garland, this cherished tradition promises a vibrant celebration filled with floats, marching bands, and high-energy performances that reflect the spirit of the community.

The parade will showcase bands, cheerleaders, and drill teams from all seven high schools within the Garland Independent School District, along with youth organizations, local leaders, police, fire departments, and more. This event is a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together and celebrate the community’s hard work and dedication.

The parade route will begin at Glenbrook Drive and Avenue F. Participants will proceed north on Glenbrook to Main Street, then east on Main to Sixth Street, continuing north on Sixth to State Street, east on State to Fifth Street, and concluding at the Granville Arts Center.
