Garland, TX – If you’ve ever looked around our city and wondered, “Why doesn’t anyone do something about this mess?” well, now is your chance to be part of the answer. In reality, the best way for our community to be cleaner and more attractive is for those of us to live here to be more proactive. You may think that small things don’t matter, but when we all do small things it adds up to big things!
On Saturday, October 11th, you have a chance to be part of a bigger effort that could make a substantial difference for our community. Here are the details and a link to the page where you can sign up!

Keeping our waterways beautiful takes a community effort. Join volunteers from Dallas, Rowlett, and Garland to clean up our shared waterway, Lake Ray Hubbard, and connecting tributaries.
We supply the tools; you supply the power! Choose from a preferred location in Dallas, Rowlett, or Garland to clean up. Following the workday, you are welcome to come hang out at the Hella Shrine Center for free food and fun.
Come dressed to work in the elements: boots, pants, sleeves, bug spray, and sunscreen. Bring a refillable water jug!
