Kicking off the day, the Urban Market will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Square. This vibrant market will offer a range of local goods, handmade crafts, and unique finds, making it a perfect spot for shoppers looking to support local vendors while enjoying the community atmosphere.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Garland Food Truck Yard will celebrate its grand opening at 101 S. Sixth Street, hosted by Jason Collard from the Garland Foodies. The event promises to be lively, featuring cornhole tournaments, a chance to win a 66” TV, and free cake while supplies last. Attendees can look forward to a variety of food trucks, including Happy Vegan, Finch BBQ, and Tortas & Tacos Jr., offering delicious options for all taste buds.
As the day transitions into evening, the Downtown Garland Wine Walk will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. This event invites participants to stroll through historic Downtown Garland, visiting 12 stops, each featuring a unique wine selection curated by State and Main Merchant. Attendees can check in at the Downtown Garland Visitor Center to receive a collectible glass, lanyard, and wristband (21+ only) before setting off on their wine tasting adventure. The event also includes an opportunity to pick up a Goodie Bag at the Garland Central Library, filled with items such as a canvas tote, enamel pin, and more.
