Rowlett, TX – The City of Rowlett is hosting local seniors for the annual Senior Resource Fair. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Rowlett Community Centre, located at 5300 Main St, Rowlett, TX.
This free event aims to provide seniors with valuable resources and information tailored to their needs. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with various local organizations that offer services ranging from hospice and healthcare information to legal assistance, insurance options, and financial guidance.
In addition to the wealth of information available, the fair will include food and fun activities. Attendees can also enter for a chance to win exciting prizes throughout the morning.
The Rowlett Community Centre has been a hub for seniors, offering memberships for residents aged 60 and older for just $10 a year. Membership includes access to the walking track and fitness room, along with participation in various trips and specialized programming designed for seniors.
For those interested in exploring additional resources, the Rowlett Senior Advisory Board has compiled a list of services and programs available to seniors in the community, including counseling services provided through the Counseling Institute of Texas.
