Holiday Cheer Abounds in Sachse: Events You Won’t Want to Miss

Sachse, TX – The holiday season is in full swing, and the City of Sachse has lined up an array of festive activities that promise fun for residents of all ages!

Sachse Trail of Lights

One of the highlights this year is the Sachse Trail of Lights, where residents are invited to submit their homes to be part of an interactive holiday light display. Submissions will be accepted until December 10th, and a map featuring all the decorated homes will be published online on December 12th.

As stated on the city’s website, participants should be aware that by entering the Trail of Lights, their photos and addresses will be featured on both printed and digital maps for visitors to enjoy. The interactive map will remain live through January 5, 2026, allowing everyone the chance to view the dazzling displays well into the new year. Residents eager to showcase their decorations can find the registration form here.

Pancakes with Santa

On Saturday, December 6th, residents can also enjoy Pancakes with Santa, hosted by the Sachse Fire Rescue. From 8 AM to 11 AM at the fire station, attendees can indulge in delicious pancakes while meeting Santa Claus. City Councilmember Chance Lindsey, a long-time volunteer for the event, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I mix the pancake batter almost non-stop for 4 hours. Other volunteers do the cooking, and we make sure our heroes are front and center to serve the food.” This annual event offers a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy a meal together and capture memories with Santa. Attendees are encouraged to find alternate routes between 5:50 PM and 7 PM to ensure a safe experience. After the parade, the community will gather for a Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Michael J.
