Garland, TX – Hope Clinic of Garland has been honored as a finalist in the Nonprofit Organization of the Year: Small category for the 2025 D CEO Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards. This recognition comes as part of D CEO’s eighth annual awards program, which highlights outstanding contributions from nonprofits across North Texas.

This year, the program received over 800 nominations, and after multiple judging sessions, a total of 133 finalists were selected. The selection process was rigorous and was a testament to the high caliber of nominees.

For 2025, two new categories were introduced: Newcomer Nonprofit, honoring organizations in their first three years, and Board Member of the Year, recognizing exemplary leadership at the board level. Additionally, Ken Hersh, President and CEO of the George W. Bush Presidential Center, will receive the Legacy Award, while Amanda Alvarez will be recognized with the Emerging Leader Award for her work with LaBori Boxing.
All finalists, including Hope Clinic, will be featured in D CEO’s August issue, and winners will be announced at an exclusive awards event in July. This recognition not only celebrates the achievements of individual organizations but also highlights the collaborative spirit of the nonprofit sector in North Texas.
