Garland Fire Station 3 Celebrates Move into Newly Renovated Permanent Station

Garland, TX – After spending months housed in a temporary trailer, the firefighters of Garland Fire Station 3 are finally settling into their freshly renovated permanent station house. Originally, the remodel was expected to take only a few months, but the process stretched well beyond its anticipated completion date, making this move even more momentous for the firefighters at Station 3.

The updated facility provides vital enhancements for the firefighters, including comfortable and private spaces for rest, a modernized kitchen, a dedicated gym space, and inviting living areas. These improvements not only enhance the day-to-day lives of the firefighters but also contribute to their overall well-being.

To mark this long-awaited occasion and make the move-in a little easier, District 6 Councilmember Carissa Dutton collaborated with Dos Banderas to cater a celebratory lunch as the team unpacked and settled into their new home.

The renovation of Fire Station 3 highlights the city’s commitment to supporting its first responders, ensuring they have the facilities necessary for both professional and personal development. As the team enjoys their new environment, the community can take pride in the investment made to enhance the firefighters’ working conditions.

Congratulations to the firefighters of Garland Fire Station 3 on their new home! Your dedication and service to the community are greatly appreciated, and this updated facility is a testament to the support you receive from the city.
