Rowlett, TX – Covington’s Nursery & Landscape Co. is set to host “Bring on the Chlorophyll” tomorrow, offering a day filled with gardening activities and expert insights. The event will kick off at 10 a.m. and run until 4 p.m., with the first 100 guests receiving a free Proven Winners houseplant.
At 11 a.m., attendees can participate in a Paint a Pot Workshop for just $9.99 per person. With only 20 spots available for this session, guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure their place.
From 12 to 12:30 p.m., a Proven Winners houseplant expert will present on the topic of rare houseplants, providing attendees with valuable knowledge about unique plant varieties.
At 1 p.m., the event will feature a Kokedama workshop, available for $24.99 per participant. Kokedama, often referred to as “poor man’s bonsai,” involves creating a moss ball around a plant using akadama soil and keto (peat), which is then secured with wire.
Finally, from 3 to 4 p.m., Madi will lead a repotting class, offering tips and tricks for successfully repotting houseplants.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Mr. Sugar Rush food truck will be on-site from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., providing delicious treats for attendees.
