4th Annual Christmas HOPE Clinic Toy Drive Spreads Holiday Joy in Garland

Garland, TX – The 4th Annual Christmas HOPE Clinic Toy Drive brought the spirit of giving to life as community members gathered to ensure that every child receives a special gift this holiday season. Upon walking up to the Clinic, Executive Director Tanya Downing could be found coordinating volunteers while simultaneously helping patients navigate the experience. From the rows of bicycles generously donated by Boy Scouts of America Troop 815 to the mountain of gifts wrapped by Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church and dedicated volunteers, every aspect of the event was infused with love and care.

The celebration featured a special appearance by Santa, who arrived in style thanks to Encore Recyclers, cruising in a sleek black Cadillac. Andersen Windows + Doors contributed significantly to the event, with Plant Manager Clarence Harden expressing the fulfillment that comes from giving back. “We enjoy bringing toys and passing them out. There’s a real feeling of giving back, and that’s why I’m here again today,” Harden said, highlighting the importance of community involvement.

WaFd Bank also played a vital role, sponsoring a food truck to keep volunteers and participants nourished throughout the day. Bank representative Daniel Roberson shared his enthusiasm for being part of the event, noting, “We’ve been working with HOPE Clinic for a bit now and are excited to start helping and volunteering here.”

The collaboration among various local organizations and businesses exemplified the power of community spirit, proving that together, they can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many. With the support of the Garland community, the HOPE Clinic continues to foster hope and happiness, ensuring that this holiday season is one of joy and giving for all.
