Garland, TX – On November 20, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Let’s Grow Networks will host a Thanksgiving meal giveaway aimed at alleviating food insecurity in the community. This initiative responds to the pressing need that many families are currently facing and builds on the group’s commitment to community-driven projects.
Let’s Grow Networks, comprising nearly 100 business leaders in Garland, has expanded its mission from simply connecting local business owners to actively engaging in meaningful community support. In a recent meeting, members brainstormed ways to address the food crisis and decided to raise funds to provide at least 100 meal kits for families in need. Each meal kit is designed to feed 8 to 10 people, ensuring that numerous families can enjoy a festive Thanksgiving meal.
The giveaway event will take place at First Guaranty Bank, located at 603 Main St. in Garland. Every car that arrives will receive one meal kit, with distribution beginning promptly at 4 p.m. Community members are encouraged to come by and take advantage of this generous offering.
