Garland, TX — Shipley Donuts, the iconic Texas-born donut and kolache brand, is hosting a grand opening celebration for its second Garland location at 5949 Broadway Blvd Suite 130, open daily from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The grand opening celebration will kick off bright and early at 5 a.m. with the first 100 guests winning free donuts for a year*. All day long, guests who visit the shop will receive a free glazed donut with any purchase while supplies last. There will also be an exclusive Shipley merchandise giveaway beginning at 8 a.m. and a face painter and balloon artist on site from 9-11 a.m.
Founded in 1936 in Houston, Shipley offers more than 40 kinds of fresh, handmade-daily donuts, including its famous signature glazed donut, which is cut into its iconic hexagon shape to create a lighter, fluffier texture then carefully glazed to sweet perfection. Shipley also offers iced, filled and cake donuts in addition to fritters, bear claws, coffee and a variety of kolaches, including Egg & Cheese kolaches.
For a limited time, guests can enjoy Shipley’s Duo Deal — a new breakfast bundle that pairs any kolache and donut for only $4. The new shop will also offer fall flavor dozens featuring chocolate, maple- and white- iced donuts decorated with fall sprinkles.
