Garland, TX – Curious about curling? You’re in luck! This Sunday, January 4, 2026, Downtown Garland will host Curling on the Square, featuring free introductory curling lessons provided by the DFW Curling Club.
The event kicks off at 11:45 AM, and the fun continues throughout the day with multiple sessions available for participants aged 18 and over. Kids are also welcome to join in the excitement on a blow-up curling rink specifically designed for younger fans.

Each session is limited to 24 participants, providing a total of 144 opportunities for curling enthusiasts to engage with the sport and learn the basics.
Important Information:
Participants are advised to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled session to complete a waiver. Without this waiver signed, participation will not be allowed. The first 15 minutes of instruction will occur off the ice, so attendees should head to the DFW Curling Booth upon arrival.
Dress warmly in layers and opt for comfortable clothing. While jeans may not be suitable, sweatpants or workout pants are great choices. Remember, only athletic or tennis shoes will be permitted on the ice—no dress shoes, sandals, or boots allowed for safety reasons.
