Garland, TX — The City of Garland announced an upcoming recycling event aimed at helping residents responsibly declutter their homes. On Saturday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to noon, residents can bring their unwanted items to 675 West Walnut Street for a comprehensive recycling experience.
In partnership with Dallas College, eRecycler, and World Wear Project, the City of Garland Sanitation Department is offering a variety of recycling options, making it easier than ever for residents to dispose of their items responsibly.
The event will accept the following items:
- Paper Shredding: Securely destroy sensitive documents to protect your identity and personal information.
- Electronics Recycling: Safely recycle old laptops, TVs, monitors, and other electronic devices.
- Textile Recycling: Donate clothes, shoes, and hard toys that are no longer needed.
- Tire Recycling: Garland residents can recycle up to four tires, ensuring that these materials are disposed of properly.
